Summit manufactures a wide selection of ADA height refrigerator-freezers for hospitality settings, including timer-based automatic defrost options.

This unit includes a large refrigerator section and interior ice compartment. To use this as a low maintenance auto defrost refrigerator-freezer, plug the refrigerator into the included timer accessory and plug the timer into your wall socket. The timer allows you to program an "off" period that will power off the unit and restore power after the set time is over. This helps to prevent ice buildup in the freezer compartment. We recommend setting the timer to run from 2 to 3 hours in the middle of the night. Alternatively, the refrigerator can be used without the timer and will function as a standard manual defrost refrigerator-freezer.

The FF43BADA refrigerator section includes adjustable glass shelves for spill-proof storage and three door racks ideal for storing condiments and cans. The lower crisper drawer is best suited for non-perishable items. The upper freezer compartment is designed to store ice packs and ice cubes. This unit offers a generous 3 cu.ft. of storage capacity. They will remain open when pushed to 90º, making it easier to load and unload the unit. The sealed back design helps to simplify cleanup. This unit features a factory-installed lock located towards the top of the door for convenient security. We include a set of locking casters for optional installation.  The SCRR492 features a large 49 cu.ft. interior constructed from stainless steel for easy cleanup and lasting durability. The cantilevered shelving system allows you to adjust the eight vinyl-coated shelves to virtually any position, making it easy to accommodate any sized item.
